World Record Store Day: Vinyl sound 'much richer'

The UK's love affair with vinyl continues with almost 800,000 vinyl albums sold last year. With Record Store Day being celebrated on Saturday, BBC Breakfast looks at why so many people still enjoy the old fashioned platform.

Singer Tony Bennett: 'Modern music is terrible'

20 March 2014 Last updated at 10:56 GMT The majority of songs written today are "terrible", legendary singer Tony Bennett has said. The 87-year-old crooner explained that record labels only have eyes for making money. Mr Bennett, best known for the song I Left My Heart In San Francisco, also told the BBC's Rebecca Jones that his own voice "has never sounded better".
